Our client is looking for an experienced Transport Planner to work in their Galway depot.
This role would suit someone with at least three years experience in transport planning and is looking to make the next step in their career with a dynamic logistics team who wants to progress their career.

What you will be doing?
Transport planner required to work in a busy transport team to help to schedule , organise and prioritise workloads & Organise drivers Track and monitor driver hours to ensure compliance with legal regulations Must be a quick thinker, efficient & able to work under pressure.
Good customer service skills.
Asset management with a focus on efficiency Liaise with customers for job bookings and customer care Entering/Updating consignments onto the company IT systems Resolve any delivery or collection issues in the most efficient way possible whilst maintaining the highest level of service at all times Plan workload effectively and communicate work to drivers in an accurate and timely manner What you will bring to the role: Excellent Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
Excellent Communication:Strong written and verbal communication skills for dealing with customers and internal teams professionally.
Attention to Detail:High level of accuracy in document management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office:Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook to manage administrative tasks and communications.
Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS):Experience with TMS Customer-Focused:Ability to professionally address and resolve customer queries in a timely manner.

€35K - €45K.
