Position Overview: The Industrial Connectivity and Control BU are seeking a motivated and creative principal Analog Design Engineer to join our team developing Industry 4.0 leading silicon solutions to drive growth in our global Business. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team in Limerick with excellent opportunities to work on leading edge development in Industrial automation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead project development teams, providing technical leadership while developing innovative communications and connectivity products for the industrial market.Participate/lead in all aspects of product development, including:Customer interaction during initial product concept definition.Liaising with applications and architects on defining product concepts.Exercise expertise in mixed signal design concepts to translate customer requirements into a solution architecture.Plan, guide, and review the implementation and verification of design pre-silicon.Collaborate with colleagues across Test, Evaluation, and Qual to validate and qualify the functionality of silicon through to product release.Respond to customer queries and help overcome technical challenges.Identify emerging technical advancements in process development and circuit innovation.Grow strong technical networks across ADI and participate in internal technical conferences.Minimum Qualifications: BEng + 10 Years Experience of IC development.Strong fundamentals in analog and mixed-signal design, tools, and flows.Design experience with circuits such as amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs.Experience coordinating/directing Layout, verification, evaluation, and debug of silicon.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong inter-personal, teamwork, and communication skills.Motivated, results-oriented, and innovative mindset.Experience in mentoring and guiding less experienced Engineers.Preferred Qualifications: Experience of Leading Mixed Signal IC development is preferred.Experience in HV circuit design is highly valued.Familiarity with communication protocols such as Ethernet Phy and IO-Link is valuable.Knowledge of EMC standards and design methodologies is advantageous.#LI-CC1
