Principal Angular Developer – Galway/Hybrid Our client, a leading multinational Financial Services provider seeks to hire a Principal Front end Developer who will be responsible for technical leadership on front end features, as well as hands-on software design and implementation. The ideal candidate will be an individual who continually strives to advance engineering excellence and innovation.
Candidates must have full working rights without restriction in Ireland to be eligible for consideration i.e. Irish Citizenship, Stamp 4 Visa.
Requirements: 6+ Years industry experience focused on UI/Front end development.Deep knowledge and experience with UI tech stack: HTML, CSS and Angular.Experience with Test automation using Karate / Cypress / Jasmin, etc.Experience with Highcharts or other data visualization frameworks.Experience with NgRx or other UI state management frameworks is a plus.Exposure to Java stack, Spring and Restful web services would be beneficial.Experience with CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins) and AWS Cloud Infrastructure / Services.Flair for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code.Experience working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application.Passionate about engineering excellence.Responsibilities: You will lead the design and implementation of software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements and that are aligned to the project's strategic direction.Fully engage in product quality plan efforts, including test case development, design reviews, code reviews and test automation.Work towards building an inclusive, trusting and safe environment where learning and innovation can thrive.Collaborate with a global team of software engineers to improve engineering standards and best practices.There is a competitive salary/package on offer for this role with a wealth of opportunities for continuous learning and career progression available.
