Principal Associate - Safety And Occupational Hygiene

Hobson Prior is seeking a Principal Associate for Safety and Occupational Hygiene. This role focuses on providing expert advice on health and safety matters, assessing and controlling health hazards, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry practices.

Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice to management and employees by interpreting health, safety & legislation, corporate standards, policies, and industry guidance. Assess and control health hazards, including biological, chemical, ergonomic, physical, and psychosocial hazards. Conduct exposure assessment surveys, write reports, and communicate findings. Reduce risk by making organizational changes and selecting and designing relevant facilities. Understand and implement health and safety requirements for new products and projects. Liaise with and report to Environmental Health & Safety regulatory agencies and corporate auditing groups. Review process and equipment changes to identify potential Health & Safety impacts. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a science-related field. Knowledge in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety.
