Principal Engineer

Principal Engineer I am recruiting on behalf of my client in the IT industry, who is seeking a Principal Engineer.
This role involves leading innovation, architecture, and setting the technical direction, all while maintaining a hands-on approach with expertise in Java and cloud-based technologies.
Location Cork, Ireland Day Rate Contract (12+ Months), Hybrid Working Desired Skills: Java, AWS, Spring boot, REST, Docker, Kafka Responsibilities: Architect and implement secure, robust, and scalable solutions.
Conduct hands-on software development.
Act as a technical leader to a team of engineers.
Conduct code reviews.Required Experience: 6+ years' experience using the programming language Java with Spring boot.
Industry experience in architecture, designing and deploying large-scale applications.
Strong experience working with AWS.
Experience leading teams and mentoring junior developers.
Experience working with Docker, Kafka, and MySQL.
Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in the Republic of Ireland without restriction.
