Mapi Research Trust is currently seeking a Principal to join our team!
We are seeking a passionate, resilient, adaptive and inspiring individual to lead the Patient Centered Endpoint Intelligence (PACE) team.
This role will guide the PACE team in providing best in class scientific guidance to customers developing patient focused endpoint strategies using Clinical Outcomes Assessments (COAs) and Digital Health Technologies (DHTs) in clinical trials.
This position will also have a key role in developing the business integration strategy for HumanFirst, recently acquired by ICON.
What you will be doing Subject Matter Expertise: Direct and lead data gathering efforts, applying relevant tools and techniques for literature review and synthesis.Lead the scientific development and validation of research methodology.Act as a thought partner with clients and project teams developing endpoints strategies using COA and DHTs.Provide scientific and methodological leadership across various project types.Review and approve final drafts of project deliverables.Strategic Leadership in Business Integration: Develop and launch the first of kind consulting service for endpoint selection with COAs and DHTs, integrating with Mapi Research Trust.Define milestones for success in the Go To Market and hiring plans.Communicate progress to leadership and coordinate with cross-functional team leads to ensure success.Coordinate with Product & Technologies team to ensure internal technologies are well suited for the needs of the PACE team in delivering value to customers.People Leadership: Provide oversight and mentorship to teammates conceptualizing and drafting proposals based on client ideas or RFPs.Oversee the scientific content in proposals and projects.Organize and monitor workloads to ensure project efficiency and quality.Anticipate and mitigate key project risks effectively.Manage human resource activities, including staffing, resource optimization, mentoring, and talent development.Delegate and ensure completion of special assignments.Comply with all relevant SOPs, policies, and procedures.Promote an open and honest working environment to encourage teamwork and knowledge transfer.
Your Profile Advanced degree in a relevant scientific field.Proven experience in scientific research and project management.Robust knowledge in COAs and DHTs measurement properties and strategy.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to travel as required.Commitment to uphold ICON's values.Join ICON and contribute to groundbreaking scientific research.
