Principal Scientist - Qc Compliance

Hobson Prior is seeking a dedicated and experienced Scientist. This role involves providing technical assistance for systems within the quality control laboratory. The successful candidate will understand and explain regulations as well as create, put into place and oversee the quality systems associated with all testing activities for the lab.

Responsibilities: Understand and apply regulatory requirements and global quality standards to develop and maintain digital systems, processes, and procedures. Monitor compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and compendial standards. Manage the GMP readiness plan for the labs to ensure a consistent and compliant approach. Design and implement the analytical equipment lifecycle management process. Implement the Training / Personnel Qualification Strategy for start-up and subsequent phases. Handle change controls, deviations, and root cause investigations. Write and review key GMP documents such as standard operating procedures, training materials, test methods, qualification documents, etc. Lead the QC inspection readiness program. Provide ongoing education, coaching, feedback, and mentoring to QC personnel. Key Skills & Requirements: Safety-first approach to activities. Proficiency in English. Technical expertise in analytical equipment lifecycle management. Track record working with data integrity requirements in a QC environment. Strong knowledge in using digital solutions for data, equipment, and laboratory management. Experience with regulatory inspections. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and proactively. High learning agility and flexibility. Ability to influence others to implement changes quickly. Imaginative approach to problem-solving and solution discovery.
