Job Description: Principal Software Quality Engineer The Expertise We're Looking For 10+ years Software Quality Engineering experience. Proven experience with test automation tools and building automation frameworks. Strong experience with continuous integration practices and automated deployment tools. Experience in designing and delivering innovative quality frameworks. The Skills You Bring Languages: Extensive experience in coding/scripting languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript. Test Automation: Proficient in multiple industry tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Protractor, Cucumber. Databases: Extensive experience in working with relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle. Cloud: Experienced with cloud services provider's offerings (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud). Collaborative in your approach, actively contributing to how work gets completed. Knowledge of secure coding standards and best practices. The Purpose of Your Role Continually grow your skillset with the use of company fortnightly full learning days. Conduct technical design discussions with engineering, ensuring best engineering and automation practices, code quality, and application stability. Recommend and influence decision making to define suitable automation frameworks. Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure database integrity and stable test environments. Align automation with development using continuous integration and continuous testing processes. Develop, evaluate, and implement improved processes, methods, and tools to continually improve software delivery effectiveness. Design and implement test automation approaches and test automation for Agile software development. Actively participate in all Agile Ceremonies including elaboration and planning. Work collaboratively with the team to create a quality strategy. Analyze and report test results, project tracking, and product release readiness. Provide research across industry and enterprise regarding processes and tools. Encourage cross collaboration and focus on bringing the outside in. Drive a culture of quality. Mentor other members of the team and help structure team activities to support automated testing. Influence the broader team in quality engineering behaviors and practices. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at a given time.
