This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
As a Barclays Private Banker, you will be growing, managing, and maintaining a book of ultra-high net worth and family offices clients in the Central Eastern European region. You will bring an established and proven network of contacts and actively leverage that to develop the Private Bank's penetration into this market. Working as a team in achieving targets for new client acquisition, netting new asset, credit, investment acquisitions, and revenues. You will be fluent in English and other regional languages with previous experience in controlling and monitoring risk within a client book.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
The primary location for the role is Dublin.
Purpose of the role To provide resolutions for customer queries/issues and personalise each interaction through the use of multiple communication channels.
Accountabilities Collaboration across multiple digital channels to personalise each interaction with a customer.Enhancing the bank's digital capabilities when current technology is identified as not yet ready to support.Provision of exceptional customer service to clients by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and handling client requests efficiently.Support the collaboration of internal stakeholders including sales, operational, and risk management teams to meet client needs and expectations, so that transactions are executed accurately and on time.Support teams within the business operations function as needed, including risk management, compliance, and collections.Comply with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to customer care.Vice President Expectations Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.Collaborate with other areas of work, for business-aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and business strategies.Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives.
