Position Title: Private Credit/Leveraged Finance Research Analyst (EU/UK) Entity: KBRA Analytics —DLD Employment Type: Full Time Location: Dublin, Ireland/London, UK Overview KBRA Analytics is seeking a private credit/leveraged finance research analyst to join our KBRA Direct Lending Deals team in either the Dublin, Ireland or London, UK office. The analyst will play a critical role in processing terms and rankings for the private credit/senior debt market and providing support for external clients that consume the data. This may include monitoring industry events and executing upon a variety of projects.
Job Responsibilities Process, audit and monitor data in an organized and efficient mannerProduce research and ranking reports plus market commentary with regular frequency on key aspects of private credit markets to support best-in-class coverage of the data setTrack growth & evolution of data; compare market segmentsEstablish contacts in the private credit market landscapeGenerate ideas to enhance the data product, increase automation, and optimize processesRespond to client inquiries in a timely manner; manage custom requests; maintain client relationshipsQualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business analytics, mathematics, or related fieldsMinimum 3 years of work experience in the private credit area including supporting origination, structuring, research, or other capacityExperience navigating idiosyncrasies in private credit terms including pricing and structuresDemonstrated understanding of private credit lender landscape and funding vehicles including CLOs and BDCsUnderstanding of differing reporting patterns for BDC financial statements and schedules of investmentsKnowledge of SEC filing formsProficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and macrosA deep understanding of both origination platforms and buyside/investorExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsSubmissions Candidates are expected to provide contact information for two references of past experience. All candidates will be subject to a 60-minute written test to demonstrate judgement and writing skills.
