PE Global currently recruiting for an ELV Supervisor for a contractor developing state of the art data centres across Europe. The client specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a talented and experienced ELV Supervisor to join our team in Sandviken, Sweden.
Responsibilities: Liaise and co-ordinate site activities alongside other trades.Carry out daily and weekly reports and issue to line manager.Carry out weekly toolbox talks.Prepare two weeks look ahead for upcoming works.Attend daily/weekly meetings.Manage labour requirements in line with project program requirements.Maintain quality of the works to a high level.Ensure subcontractors are working as efficiently as possible.Notify line manager of all variations, delays, and risks (along with mitigation opportunities).Ensure all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications.Coordinate and store all delivered materials in a safe and secure manner.Review all subcontractors' plant and access equipment to ensure it is certified and in good working condition.Provide hands-on supervision of subcontractor works.Sign off of RAMS prior to site installation works commencing.Sign off of SPA for the subcontractor at the work face each morning prior to works commencing for the day.Attend daily whiteboard meetings & DABS.Ensure installation is in line with regulations, standard installation details, and project requirements (project drawings, specifications, safety and quality requirements, etc.).Follow environmental, health, and safety standards and ensure quality standards are met.Liaise with site teams to resolve issues as they arise on a day-to-day basis.Ensure that inspections are planned and carried out efficiently in line with the client's quality processes. Lead these processes to ensure that issues/snags are highlighted at an early stage and closed quickly leading to clean client inspections.Plan and coordinate "First Of Kind" inspections to ensure technical compliance and establish project benchmarks.Ensure that all matters of compliance and governance are identified and adhered to, including:Health & safety issues on site and ensuring that all subcontractors are working in a safe manner.Review ways of working and where possible implement changes to improve safety.Ensure housekeeping is kept to a high standard by all subcontractors.Complete weekly 'don't walk by' inspections.Requirements: Relevant ELV/Electrical trade certificate.Previous experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential.Data centre experience is advantageous.Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required.Interested candidates should submit an updated CV.
