The Process Improvement Lead will be responsible for streamlining, simplifying, and improving our end-to-end processes, driving a continuous improvement culture, with systems & tools to drive productivity and strategic initiatives for Coding Operations.
Helping to identify process quality issues, measure current process performance, analyze root cause defects and develop targeted process improvement opportunities  Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements and individuals who live and work in the Republic of Ireland will have the opportunity to split their monthly work hours between our Dublin or Letterkenny office and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model.
Primary Responsibilities: •    Project Management: Liaison with key stakeholders to ensure initiatives are communicated, incepted, and reviewed for continuous process improvement •    Experience working with project teams to define requirements related to process improvement.
•    Experience facilitating process mapping sessions, defining value streams and non-value tasks.
•    Perform both qualitative (trends) and quantitative (statistical) analysis using a variety of techniques and tools.
Identify trends, patterns, and outliers to identify cost savings and service opportunities •    Responsible for projects that eliminate re-work, and increase Quality.
•    Recommends solutions and controls, and implementing approved recommendations •    Ensures accurate quality measurements and tools are implemented You will be rewarded and recognised for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required qualifications: •    High School Diploma/GED (or higher) •    Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, resolve problems and present appropriate business solutions and recommendations.
•    Experience working with project teams to define requirements related to process improvement.
•    Experience facilitating process mapping sessions, defining value streams and non-value tasks.
Preferred Qualifications: •    Bachelor's Degree ( or higher) •    Continuous Improvement / Business Process Re-engineering experience •    Excellent math/statistical skills.
Understanding and ability to use statistical process analysis •    Two years year of demonstrated use of Project Management tools and methodologies •    Possible certification or experience using Lean Sigma/DMAIC framework.
•    Familiarity with SQL, Minitab, Tableau and/or PowerBl.
•    Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
