Procurement Business Analyst In this super new role you will - KPI Development & Mgt.
: Design, implement, & maintain KPIs to measure business performance across various depts.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure KPIs aligned with strategic goals & operational needs.
Regularly review & update KPIs to adapt to changing business environments or objectives.
Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, manage, & clean data from multiple sources (databases, reports, surveys, etc.).
Perform in-depth analysis of data & identify trends, patterns & insights relevant to performance improvement.
Use statistical methods & data visualisation tools to present findings.
Performance Monitoring: Track & monitor KPIs on an ongoing basis to ensure the organisation meets performance goals.
Generate reports & dashboards to provide leadership & mgt with timely updates on business performance.
Analyse variance from goals & recommend strategies to close performance gaps.
Reporting & Communication: Prepare detailed performance reports for senior mgt., summarising data insights & recommendations.
Present complex data & performance metrics in a clear, concise way to non-technical stakeholders.
Create & maintain dashboards & visual tools to provide at-a-glance performance data.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimisation & automation to improve efficiency & data quality.
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance business performance.
Monitor impact of process improvements through ongoing KPI analysis.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior mgt & other s/holders to identify performance improvement needs.
Provide training & support to teams on interpreting KPIs & using data for decision-making.
Skills & Knowledge: Exp processing & reporting on confidential & time-sensitive info, demonstrating numeric ability, accuracy & attention to detail are all essential.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with a passion for answering complex questions with data essential.
IT literacy (i.e.
MS Office skills essential, learn new tech software systems inc SAP .
Skills & exp engaging & communicating with range of int/ext stakeholders essential.
Communicate complex analysis verbally & written in clear, precise, & actionable manner.
Monitor, analyse, optimise performance KPIs & use of technology to improve performance.
Use performance KPIs to inform business planning & decision making.
Excellent planning & organising skills to manage multiple competing priorities with tight deadlines.
Commercial & business awareness Work under pressure to solve problems independently.
Sound judgement, professionalism, & discretion.
A Degree in a business etc.
