Here at Kellanova we're looking for a Category Manager?to help us lead regional sourcing activities for one or more categories of spend, with the goal of achieving significant and sustainable year over year benefits and continuity of supply, whilst ensuring the quality of products and service.
You will build strong relationships and partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, looking at the long-term strategic outlook.
With a primary focus on the ingredients category, you will oversee the regulations, tendering process, financial forecasting and negotiations.
Your role will be based at our?European Headquarters?in?Dublin, Ireland .
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing Strategic Stakeholder – Serve as the regional strategic stakeholder with our suppliers and corporate functions to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans.
Procurement – Support the direct procurement team as process owner with several key activities including – financial forecasting, budget management, strategic sourcing process, category strategy creation and buy plans.
Relationship Management - Manage and maintain a variety of supplier relationship types.
Working Internally - Work cross functionally and collaboratively with our colleagues in supply chain, R&D and commercial to play a critical role in delivery of our regional growth targets.
Monthly Demand - Translate monthly demand signals from the sales organisation to ensure that the manufacturing team has sufficient contract coverage in place, as well as monitoring contract balances and weekly consumption across our European manufacturing network.
We're Looking for Someone With Strong Category Management experience.
Demonstrated technical competencies – negotiation, financial acumen, multiple sourcing process approaches.
Packing Commodity and/or Agricultural Commodity experience.
