Procurement Coordinator - Medical Supplies At Staffline Recruitment we have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join an established, successful medical supplies company located in South Dublin.
This is a stand alone role within the organisation where the successful candidate will take responsibility for the full procurement lifecycle with a commitment excellence and customer satisfaction.
This role is suitable for someone who enjoys being challenged in their career while being part of an enthusiastic, hard-working team.
This fast paced and unique role will be different every day, however the core responsibilities are: Source new items from both existing and new vendors, coordinating samples, pricing, specification, lead times, forecasting requirements and other relevant information from international vendors.
Manage the setup of new suppliers in the system, review, recalculate and maintain pricing within the database.
Reviewing existing work processes and implementing smarter ways if working where necessary.
Problem solve customer requests and queries by thinking creatively outside the box.
Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with global suppliers.
Maintain excellent lines of communication internally with management, sales, customer service and warehouse teams.
Oversee purchase orders and invoices in a multicurrency environment.
Resolve any customs queries that may disrupt delivery schedules.
General procurement administration.
This role is suitable for someone who enjoys being challenged in their career while being part of an enthusiastic, hard-working team.
Other key requirements will include: 2-5 years of purchasing / procurement experience.
Experience working with medical products or a similar industry.
Experience managing full cycle procurement processes is desirable.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
Confident and influential communication style.
Outgoing and positive attitude to work.
Ability to foster strong working relationships both internally and externally.
This is a permanent, full time position that will offer a generous salary package along with a hybrid working model.
