Manage the strategic and tactical purchasing responsibilities for the Kerrygold Park site to maintain a high level of customer service. Serve as subject matter expert in the procurement function. Serve as an escalation point to internal business stakeholders for supplier relationship concerns. Work with corporate procurement on the production of site strategic category plans and support group strategic procurement initiatives. Maintain a comprehensive purchasing system and support tactical purchasing requirements for a cross section of raw materials. Support the Group Sustainability/ESG strategy when it comes to sourcing and procuring new items. Lead cost saving initiatives. Drive innovation through the sourcing of new materials and govern trial implementation. Support and align with the strategic initiatives led by the Ornua Head of Packaging. Develop and maintain good working relationships with the site cross functional teams (Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations and Finance). Review contracts and guide necessary amends. Support the commercialization of new projects in the markets (new packaging items or ingredients). Ensure new suppliers meet all necessary regulatory and audit requirements. K EY R EQUIREMENTS : Degree in management, business, supply chain or a related discipline. 3-5 years Industry experience in procurement or similar role. Broad knowledge of purchasing & inventory control methods, principles and practices. Experience in vendor management and data analysis. Strong customer service, vendor relations and interpersonal skills. Intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Excel (Able to work with pivot tables, use lookup formulas, etc.). ERP System Experience.
