THE POSITION: We are currently looking for a Procurement Lead to join our growing team and contribute to the effective management of procurement operations across multiple regions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Lead and manage the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing IT equipment, software, and services to meet business needs. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's operational objectives and growth targets. Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or service delivery. Work closely with the logistics and finance teams to streamline procurement processes and improve overall efficiency. Monitor market trends and supplier performance to anticipate price changes, new product availability, and emerging opportunities. Ensure procurement activities adhere to ethical standards and industry regulations. Oversee the preparation and management of procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements. Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions and regularly report on procurement metrics. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, understand requirements, and optimize inventory levels. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, policies, and systems. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the IT or technology industry. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing global procurement operations. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems. Strong understanding of supply chain management, vendor sourcing, and contract management. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers. Knowledge of global trade regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
