Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Coordinate & assist procurement activities in Allianz Partners Health Line of BusinessSupport Health Global COO, based in Dublin, on all procurement topicsImplement best procurement practices and standards (including compliance and regulatory components) in Allianz PartnersEnsure vendors are onboarded correctly and fulfill Allianz StandardsAssist colleagues with Procurement queries, training and procedure developmentManage the Supplier database ensuring accurate information is maintainedFirst line approval of PR's, blocking of vendors. PR's where not compliant etc.Assist in developing a network of service providers covering non-core business procurement categories and indirect procurement categories (e.g. professional services, Facilities, marketing & communication)Assist Group and Local level with projects to leverage Allianz Partners global and regional purchasing power.Support innovation, solution design and roll out of sameImplement strategic sourcing at local levelManage providers at local and international levelBe responsible for all procurement tasks in our Health businessSupport global & strategic procurement initiatives across Allianz Partners business unitsWhat you bring: Fluent in English, a second language is a plus3rd level qualification in business, purchasing, or relevant work experience in Procurement related activitiesSome experience in Project management, migration of vendors etc is desirableLegally permitted to work in the country of operationsAbility to communicate at all levels across the business.Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and research skillsBehavioural requirements: A penchant for being proactiveGood people skills – ability to engage and persuade at all levelsKnowledge of Procurement and procedurally driven procurement practices.Strong communication, attention to detail, time management and interpersonal skills including leadershipAbility to work independently and maintain focus under pressure.Ability to produce quality materials within tight time frames.Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectivelyCustomer FocusedStrong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong organisation and planning skills.Comfortable challenging the ideas of othersHighly developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to work effectively within a team environmentHonesty and IntegrityAbility to motivate othersReporting Line: The position reports functionally to Global Head of Procurement and as functional manager Global Health COO in Allianz Partners. The position also requires coordination closely across the Health Operations and with various entities externally.
