Product Builder (Start-Up)

Our client, an exciting and innovative start-up based in Galway, is seeking a Product Builder to join their expanding manufacturing team.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and production of life-changing medical devices.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following:Support incoming material inspections and manage distribution of product components to the production line, tracking consumption and scrap.Collaborate with the manufacturing support team to provide feedback on existing work instructions and assist in developing instructions for future devices and iterations of current products.Build devices as per the production build schedule, ensuring the highest standards of quality, and take pride in creating products that will directly impact patients undergoing chemotherapy treatments.Assist in R&D prototyping, product verification, clinical trials, and commercial builds of patient-facing medical devices.Execute and support validations and testing of equipment and processes as required.Identify and implement opportunities to optimize processes, improve throughput, increase yield, and reduce scrap.Perform and support equipment preventative maintenance schedules.Job RequirementsLeaving Certificate (Level 5+) or equivalent.2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical device or electro-mechanical device production.Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.Familiarity with GMP practices.Experience with process equipment such as leak decay testers, heat sealers, vision systems, printers, barcode readers, and check weighing equipment.Proficiency with manufacturing software such as MES, SAP, or similar systems.Strong skills in MS Excel and MS Word.Fluent spoken and written English.Ability to clearly articulate ideas and effectively train other team members as the team grows.Creative problem solver who is open to learning and developing new assembly methods and techniques.Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.Self-driven, resourceful, and organized, with a focus on completing tasks efficiently.Professional, respectful, and motivated by a shared team goal of delivering impactful products.
