We currently wish to recruit a Product Expert to join our team in Mercedes-Benz South Dublin.
Objectives of the Role: Encourage and energize customers in the dealership with comprehensive product information and insight.
Promote the exclusive selling points of Mercedes-Benz products and their customer benefits.
Offer exceptional customer experience by using non-pressured customer discussion.
Key duties & responsibilities to include: Keeping up to date with the latest product information through online learning portals and regular online meetings.
Providing customers with specification information about all Mercedes-Benz products.
Helping customers to learn Mercedes-Benz features in an easy-to-understand manner.
Assisting customer creating Mercedes-Me and Mercedes-Charge accounts and pairing vehicles to their accounts.
Demonstrating to customers the benefits of their Mercedes-Me accounts and how to navigate the platforms.
Ensuring all staff are up to date on the latest product information and that their knowledge is of a high standard.
Planning and managing the customer test drive process with the Sales Executive and offering product insight during the test drive appointment.
Responsible for the preparation of the showroom & external retail displays, ensuring a selection of new Mercedes-Benz vehicles are on display and that the showroom is always presentable for customers.
Pro-actively approaching customers in the showroom to welcome them and see if they need any assistance.
Supporting the Sales Executives by giving insight and product knowledge to customers, when required.
Guiding customers to a Sales Executive when they express an interest to buy.
Coordinating delivery with customers between time of sale and handover of their car.
Engaging in regular customer contact between sale and delivery.
Provide a tailored handover experience for each customer, ensuring customers have had a full introduction to all specifications available within their vehicle.
Assist with collection and delivery of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Obtain all Mercedes-Benz training qualifications through digital and face2face training programs.
Obtain Personal Certificate Consumer Credit (APA) from UCD via the Institute of Bankers.
The successful candidate will ideally: Hold a full, clean drivers license.
Have in interest in Mercedes-Benz vehicles and their advanced, class leading, technologies.
Display a positive, outgoing personality and enjoy engaging with people.
Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude even under pressure.
Excel at understanding, anticipating and meeting customer needs.
