The Product Management Unit is part of the Investment Fund Services Business Solutions Section and is responsible for identifying and understanding both the internal and external needs of the business, identifying appropriate solutions whilst at the same time managing the process right through and ensuring successful execution.
Your Responsibilities:The Product Management Intern will be responsible for the following activities: Work with internal operations groups to identify, assess, propose and execute operational process improvements.
Be a resource to support various projects and initiatives Development of new applications as required by the business (training will be provided as appropriate) Analyse and understand the business requirements in order to fully support enhancements on existing local applications Ensure that all applications adhere to company procedures and standards, along with meeting set project time frames Escalate and advise any relevant issues to Management as necessary Provide a pro-active contribution to ensure individual and team targets and objectives are being achieved within required deadline Assist in project work where required Your ProfileKey attributes for the role include: An interest in learning about the funds industry Currently studying for a third level qualification in Business or Finance related area Be risk aware and take all steps necessary to minimise errors Proficient with MS Office Excel and Word Strong ability and experience of multi-tasking Proactive with strong organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Excellent problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills, working well independently and in a team environment Excellent accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written The role requires use of one's initiative as well as participating and contributing to pre-existing product enhancements NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
