Team / Role Overview
The Product Manager is a senior management level position responsible for managing a broad range of Product Management employees, setting strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management, etc. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life-cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.
What you will do:
The successful applicant will be responsible for day-to-day management of key Product decision-making and oversight responsibilities, including:
Running regular cross functional meetings with operational and technology partners to review KPIs for service delivery, review key projects and priorities and to resolve or escalate key issues
Provide monthly reporting against strategic Transfer Agency delivery priorities
Monitor, manage and report key metrics for Transfer Agency business performance, including tracking efficiency improvement plans vs delivery targets
Partner with business platform and tech leads to identify existing Citi solutions for automation
Partner with Operations on risk and manual process reduction
Business owner of OCC - cascaded risk/controls items focused on Ops efficiency
Consolidate oversight processes for key Transfer Agency vendors and other critical suppliers with a focus on supporting next generation model for retail investor servicing
First point of contact for day-to-day enquiries from internal partners and clients on product scope and capabilities, including Operating Models vs consistency with Product Catalogue
Own key product processes for Transfer Agency, including RFP management, client exits, product catalogue maintenance and driving consistency of product delivery globally where relevant
Own the global invoicing process for Transfer Agency ensuring a consistent fee card is implemented efficiently using a high degree of automation
Own and manage the FATCA and CRS sub-product offering
Own and manage Transfer Agency product interaction with other Citi products (e.g. TTS, Custody) where they provide services as part of the end-to-end offering to Transfer Agency clients
Oversee day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
Develop plans and execute functional strategies for a country, multiple countries, region, or business requiring coordination and integration across units as well as provide input into strategic decisions affecting job family or function within a region or business
What we'll need from you:
Extensive relevant experience
Experience managing across multi-function and/or global business
Functional experience in marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, or analytics
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
