Reporting to the Product, Proposition & Digital Lead, the International Parcels Product Manager is responsible for driving the commercial volume agenda for all International parcel products. They develop and implement strategically driven product plans that align with the strategic direction for the Mails and Parcels business.
ResponsibilitiesWork with the Product, Proposition & Digital Lead to develop and implement strategically driven product marketing plans that align with the strategic direction for the international mails and parcels business.Drive the commercial volume agenda for all parcel products.Lead An Post international parcel product initiatives.Manage product development for all International Parcels products (B2B, SME & B2C and C2C).Deliver integrated product plans that maximise product potential and achieve market share and profit targets.Manage all International Parcels product development in collaboration with the Product, Proposition & Digital Lead & the digital team.Meet or exceed product profit targets by product line as specified in the strategic plan.Collaborate with the Mails & Parcels communications team to launch and grow all International parcel products & services.Conduct proposition research and manage business cases for each proposition.Work with the marketing operations team to create and manage all parcel product stock.Collaborate with the retail business to manage the development and rollout of Parcels products/services.Collaborate with the Operations team to manage the development and rollout of International Parcels products/services.Engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to deliver on required outputs.Utilize customer insights and sales channel feedback to create product propositions.Demonstrate An Post values and behaviours in daily work and address behaviours that support or conflict with them.Knowledge, Experience and Skills RequiredAt least 7 years' trade and/or company experience in a product role.Proven ability to deliver on commercial objectives.A knowledge of An Post domestic and international markets and agreements would be beneficial.Relevant third-level qualification in business/marketing.Experience in selling via eCommerce Channels.Critical Competencies:Technical/Professional KnowledgeResults OrientationCommercial AwarenessInitiativeDecision Making & JudgementAbout the BenefitsIn addition to a highly competitive remuneration package, we offer access to the following:
