Company: Our client is an export focused Irish-based company specialising in processing, sales and distribution of marine algae products into the animal nutrition market.
The company has an established and growing business in this sector particularly into global markets with exports into over 40 countries.
Opportunity: As the Product Manager – Monogastric (pig specialism), you will own the monogastric product portfolio, ensuring that its technical and commercial positioning is effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
You will work closely with sales, marketing, and partner teams to support the growth and success of our client's monogastric products (pig range).

Responsibilities: * Lead the monogastric (pig) product portfolio, driving sales and ensuring alignment of technical messaging across global markets with the ability to present technical feed additives effectively.
* Demonstrable expertise in developing pig formulations face to face with farmers, a prerequisite.
* Regular development of tailored pig formulations, face-to-face, with farmers.
* Support the sales teams worldwide, providing technical expertise and guidance on the portfolio.
* Ensure new team members receive comprehensive training on the technical aspects of the product portfolio.
* Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute lead generation strategies, ensuring technical content is accessible and customer-focused.
* Coordinate and manage both commercial and scientific trials, from planning to presentation of results, to drive product development and customer engagement.
* Report on monthly sales performance for the monogastric portfolio and contribute to the strategic planning and budgeting of product trials.
* Work with cross-functional teams to develop the innovation pipeline and collect customer testimonials for marketing use.
* Train partners on the latest technical information and provide marketing enablement materials to ensure alignment.
Candidate Requirements: * A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Animal Nutrition or Veterinary Science is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
* At least 5 years of experience in product or technical management within a related industry.
Previous experience working on a farm or feed mill is essential, with a solid understanding of nutritional requirements and financial metrics.
Skills: * Strong theoretical knowledge and technical competency in animal nutrition, with the ability to present technical feed additives effectively.
* Proven sales and marketing skills, with the ability to deliver technical messaging in a customer-friendly manner.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English and at least one other language.
* Analytical and decision-making skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams to achieve results.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and other relevant tools, with accurate data entry skills.
* Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time globally.
Remuneration: Indicative salary is in the range or €70-90k, and the finer details will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
