Technical Product Owner 12 Month Contract, Dublin, Hybrid This role can be mostly remote About the Company Our client is large international company based in Dublin city centre.
They have an immediate requirement for a Product owner for initially a 12 month daily rate contract.
About the Position As a Technical Product Owner, you will serve as a critical link between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment on strategic goals and execution.
In this role, you will collaborate with project teams to address complex issues, develop innovative solutions, and drive consensus on product roadmaps.
You will oversee the product lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring successful delivery of solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Define product features, objectives, and capabilities by conducting research, gathering requirements, and analyzing business needs.
Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts for business teams and vice versa.
Collaborate with product management to establish feature goals and work with technical teams to ensure these goals are met.
Guide scrum teams in breaking down large features into user stories, leading refinement sessions to align on deliverables.
Partner with other product owners to identify opportunities for reusable development outputs.
Conduct data analysis and define consistent data structures and processes across relevant domains.
Map data and process requirements, supporting teams with necessary approvals to access critical data for product development.
Analyze, prioritize, and resolve moderately complex issues, acting as a mediator to align different user perspectives.
Provide coaching and guidance to team members and project teams, serving as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
Independently manage workload and timelines, seeking input on only the most complex tasks.
Collaborate with stakeholders using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
Experience/Requirements Required: Extensive experience in roles such as business analysis, systems analysis, data analysis, or software design within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Experience with UI Background in developing and deploying consumer or commercial products.
Exposure to high-profile projects involving multiple system integrations.
Remuneration Package A very strong daily rate (600+) on offer depending on level of experience.
