Job SummaryWe are looking for a new colleague to be based at our site.Anord Mardix have an opportunity for a Production Coordinator to join our Dundalk facility.
The new employee will assist the Production Manager in leading and managing the production teams, with responsibility for the planning and coordination of manufacturing processes.The successful candidate will have proven strengths in production management, leadership, people development, change management, technical skills and continuous improvement initiatives.What a typical day looks like: Assisting the Production Manager in project planning, execution and overseeing production processes & also in ensuring the products are manufactured efficiently, effectively and to required deadlines.Assessing project and resource requirements.Ensuring all site requirements are addressed and completed.Reporting any additional production requests and costs to the Production Manager.Managing production employee's performance to ensure standards of behaviour and discipline are met and maintained plus sign off employee probation periodsMonitor production team's absence levels and timekeeping and assist with any performance / disciplinary processesManaging Team Leaders effectively, including holidays, absences, and flexibility to ensure production is not disrupted.Managing each Team Leader's work, output, and ability to report to the Production Manager.Ensuring Safe Working Procedures are followed at all times by all employees and also that high levels of health and safety are maintained.Assisting the Production and SHEQ team in maintaining the site and also in the recruitment process for production employees.The experience we're looking to add to our team:Minimum of 3 years production experience (with experience of managing employees).Experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and sheet metal work would be highly advantageous.Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel & proficient in MS Office programmesExperience in control SystemsAbility to read & understand electrical and mechanical engineering drawingsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsConfident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectivesUnderstanding of all relevant Health & Safety regulationsEligibility to work in Ireland (EU).
