We are seeking an experienced MRF Plant Production Manager to oversee the efficient operation and performance of a busy Materials Recovery Facility (MRF).

As the MRF Plant Production Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of waste processing equipment and facilities.
The role involves maximizing plant performance, controlling costs, and upholding a safe and compliant working environment.
Key Responsibilities * Identify and implement best practices to optimize production and achieve KPIs.
Regularly review performance data and lead the team to meet targets.
* Manage day-to-day operations, including staff utilization, material handling, production efficiency, and resource management.
* Develop and oversee work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and operational coverage.
* Supervise staff performance to maintain productivity and minimize downtime.
* Actively manage plant efficiency by supervising daily operations, including staffing levels, process management, production tracking, fuel usage, and implementation of 5S methodology.
* Oversee waste material handling, ensuring separation and delivery processes are conducted efficiently and in compliance with standards.
* Implement and enforce cost control measures related to materials handling, weighbridge management, diesel access and usage, and site access.
* Ensure that all staff are trained for their roles and that all activities comply with Health & Safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
* Implement a structured maintenance program for all fixed and mobile assets, utilizing software for maintenance logging and spare parts management.
* Address and manage any health and safety concerns promptly to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements * Proven management experience in a production or waste processing facility.
* Experience overseeing operations in a labour-intensive, multi-shift environment.
* This is a site-based role, requiring a proactive and hands-on approach.
