Currently recruiting for a Production Manager for my client who are a manufacturing client based in Meath.
As the leader of a manufacturing organisation and site, you'll leverage your extensive leadership skills and experience in high-quality engineering and manufacturing.
Your focus will be on safety, exceptional quality, productivity, and sustainable growth across the site.
In this critical role, your presence on-site and unwavering commitment will drive success.
Key Responsibilities; * You'll oversee all site functions directly and indirectly, ensuring smooth production and manage the operations on site.
* You'll be accountable for site culture and performance, emphasising health, safety, and quality.
* Champion company culture and foster sustainable growth among staff.
* Support the site's strategic goals, emphasising knowledge sharing and collaboration.
* Lead various on-site functions, including safety, production, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and quality management.
Key Objectives; * Prioritise health and safety, maintaining compliance with accredited standards.
* Embed quality into production processes.
* Manage budgets, production output, and standardised KPIs.
* Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles.
* Support ERP system development.
* Address issues promptly to minimise impact on productivity, cost, and quality.
* Oversee employee productivity, training, and growth.
* Drive strategic initiatives for profitable business growth.
* Communicate proactively with team members, including escalations to the Divisional MD.
Qualifications; * 5+ years of management experience in a high-quality, medium-to-high volume production environment.
* Engineering degree preferred but not essential.
* Proficiency in managing budgets and reporting production metrics.
* Familiarity with MS Office and ERP software.
* Strong communication skills and experience in an engineering-related discipline.
* Knowledge of Root Cause Problem Solving and Lean Manufacturing principles.
