Production Operator - Ringsend, Dublin 4 - Qed0079

SUMMARY OF ROLE: We are currently recruiting for a full-time Production Operator based in Ringsend, Dublin 4, for a highly successful and rapidly growing company in the building materials sector. This role is a permanent position with an immediate start. Along with monitoring and maintaining production performance and efficiency, you will work to meet quality standards for the specified product, minimizing off-specification product and maximizing throughput and equipment use. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate the plant in a safe and efficient manner; Follow start-up and shutdown procedures; Set up and adjust plant parameters to meet production and quality targets; Record production parameters hourly; Routinely sample production products for quality target; Routinely inspect plant during running; Record and Report production issues; Monitor energy usage; Maintenance and upkeep of plant & machinery; Weighbridge duties; Machine driving. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Mechanical or Electrical trade or experience desirable but not essential; Basic PC skills required; Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; Health and safety conscious; Willingness to develop and learn. Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance record; Comfortable working on own Initiative and as part of the team. WORKING HOURS: The company operates 7 days a week in two shifts - 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. You need to be flexible to work both shifts, including weekends, alternating across day and night shift rotation. SALARY: €48,000 per annum (this includes shift allowance).
