Production Supervisor

The Production supervisor will be responsible for the JFC Evolution production lines. This role will require a self-motivated individual with a drive for process improvements. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for setting and achieving the daily, weekly and monthly KPI's set for the team, while ensuring that safety and quality standards of all products are to the highest standard possible. This role is based at JFC Group Headquarters in Tuam, Co Galway
Key duties and Responsibilities Oversee and supervise the performance of the Evolution production floorResponsible for setting and achieving daily/weekly targets for each production line aligning these with the company's quarterly forecastMotivate and support the production team to hit targetsResponsible for production workflow and KPI's, driving process improvementsHold daily PIT meetings to ensure performance targets are monitored and any issues addressedReport on and highlight quality issuesMeet with the Operation's team to report on KPI's and production floor performancePromote lean projects and 6S methodology on the production floorCooperate with the technical team and share information across the organisationEnsure strict adherence to all Health and Safety Rules & ProceduresDesired Skills and Experience Minimum of 2-3 yrs. experience leading a production team is essentialAbility to organise and manage daily activities in a fast-paced production floorExperience of hitting daily, weekly and monthly production targetsGood technical and mechanical knowledgeProblem solver that is solution's drivenAttention to detail is key for this roleConfident and commercially aware
