Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor - Day Role - Food/Pharma Our client, one of Irelands most unique and innovative manufacturing businesses is looking to add an experienced Production Supervisor to their growing team.
In this role you will take charge of a team of operators and technician's leading a defined Value Stream.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in production or manufacturing, a strong history of people leadership and an understanding of continuous and process improvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Supervision of employees within the Production Department, where leadership, direction, training and coaching are offered to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Responsible for maintaining excellent standards of housekeeping and Health & Safety Ensure Production is carried out in accordance with GMP, ISO and all regulated bodies Ensure Production is carried out in a timely manner, adhering to Production Schedules Provide direct reports with leadership, direction, training and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills.
Prepare (i.e., inspect, verify condition) all equipment, in conjunction with the Maintenance Team, used in the manufacturing process prior to use to ensure efficient, clean and safe operation.
Engage continually in developing World Class practices in continuous improvement and problem solving initiatives, including focus groups.
Ensure optimal use of resources at all times and deployment to across the organisation as required.
Work to ensure the highest level of teamwork and cooperation with all colleagues.Please note, this is a full time day role based on site.
