TasksThe Production Support Manager (PSM) is responsible for supporting production in the delivery of jet engine repairs both in-station and in-field. The scope of support includes the provision of Tooling & Equipment, Job Cards, Materials and planning that comply with regulatory and work safety standards.
Manages Production Support of aeronautical products primarily on-site / in-field maintenance of jet engines for Mobile Engine Services Dublin. Introduces and maintains processes, equipment and supplies that assure efficient and effective processing of job cards, materials and planning to perform the on-site repair of jet engines. Leads Continuous Improvement programme to achieve KPI targets for quality, efficiency and Turn-Around-Time, utilising digitalisation where appropriate. Integrates and collaborates with LHT's worldwide MES network to develop a successful global network. Ensures compliance with airworthiness, environmental, health and safety directives. Manages Logistic activities of the repair station. Manage local IT support to colleagues and Local Information Security management. Qualifications An Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical / Production Management) or Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license or equivalent alternative educational background. Post graduate qualification in Production Planning and / or Lean Production Systems desirable. Extensive leadership skills and experience to lead and motivate cross functional diverse team. Minimum of 10 years' experience working in production engineering related roles. Minimum of 5 years' experience leading a cross functional team. Extensive experience working in a highly regulated environment, preferably in aviation. Project Management experience in delivery of new equipment & introduction of new products & processes. Availability to deal with urgent issues outside normal hours. Availability for business travel as required. At LTTS, we specialise in the repair of aircraft engine components for both high pressure and low pressure turbine engines. LTTS is part of the EPAR (Engine Parts & Accessories Repair) network of Lufthansa Technik. The Company was founded in 1992 and we employ over 250 people in our state of the art facility in Shannon. All repairs are carried out in accordance with approvals of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). LTTS is licensed by General Electric, Rolls-Royce and CFMI, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) of aircraft engines, to carry out repairs in accordance with their engine shop manuals, making LTTS unique as one of a small number of companies outside of the engine manufacturers who are licensed to carry out repairs. Our expertise and focus is on the repair of high pressure turbine (HPT) shrouds, high and low pressure turbine Nozzle Guide Vanes (HPT & LPT NGVs) from the CFM56 series, CF6-80C2 and CF34 type engines.
