Job Description We are now seeking a Programme Compliance Manager to join us and play a key role assisting our clients in the transition to a low carbon energy future.
The role will involve working in a dynamic and fast paced organisation and will afford the candidate the opportunity to work on strategic and innovative projects across all stages of delivery from concept to design and construction.
The candidate should have a strong contract and project management background with a proven track record of delivering large scale complex infrastructure projects through the regulatory, design, procurement and construction stages.
Responsibilities of the Programme Compliance Manager: Oversee activities for Internal and Regulatory audits, Incentives, and Reporting which are agreed with the Industry Regulator.
Lead in the setting out of the relevant incentive targets for 2024, engaging with respective parties and shaping the delivery of these incentives across our programme and project teams.
Support engagement on the implementation and reporting of agreed incentives.
Support engagement with wider leadership team to ensure delivery of client Incentives.
Provide guidance, expertise, and support to the preparation workstreams.
Support activities resulting from the Infrastructure Delivery Review.
Additional project support when required.
Qualifications You will have 10+ years relevant experience preferably with a construction / energy / engineering background.
Power system industry expertise, utilities / construction experience along with the ability to adapt, innovate and meet changing demands; Experience overseeing internal regulatory audits/reporting/compliance.
Excellent communication and written skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience; Commercial awareness with the ability to make decisions and recommendations in all aspects of project implementation; Excellent organisational and communication skills; Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team; Recognised accredited Project Management Professional (PMP) Qualification.
Desirable Requirements Recognised qualification in energy efficiency / renewable energy.
Experience delivering renewable energy projects either onshore or offshore Understanding the operation and development of electricity transmission networks.
