The National Retrofit & Community Department is a key enabler of the Irish energy transition by assisting homeowners and communities reduce energy consumption and decarbonise homes and communities, primarily through supporting home energy upgrades and providing grant and education supports to communities.
The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of SEAI's National Retrofit Plan. As Programme Executive, you will provide support to the Programme Manager in the technical and operational development of the National Retrofit Plan, with a key focus on heat pump technologies.
Ad-hoc nationwide travel will be required for this role.
Essential Requirements A Minimum of Level 7 Qualification on the National Framework Qualifications (NFQ) in a relevant technical or operational field, i.e., Engineering or Science based.Minimum three years' experience of working in this or a related sector or in a similar role.Expertise/knowledge in the following: energy efficiency retrofit measures, their installation and commissioning, building energy rating methodology, building physics, fabric upgrades, and renewable technologies such as heat pumps.Strong project management and organisation skills, and knowledge of business process development experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presenting, and public speaking.Desirable Requirements Understanding of project management methodologies.Industry experience including knowledge of the retrofit sector.Experience in carrying out Building Energy Ratings.Experience of design, installation, and/or maintenance of energy efficiency technologies.Full Driving Licence.
