Fexco Managed Services are currently recruiting a Programme Executive to join their SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) team on a full-time basis, on an 24 month fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will join the Better Energy Homes team as part of the National Retrofit Directorate in SEAI.
This role can be based at one of the SEAI head offices (Dublin, Cork, Sligo or Dundalk), with options for hybrid working.
This would include working 3 days remote working and 2 days onsite.
About this Role: The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has been designated as the National Retrofit Delivery Body for delivering on Irelands target of upgrading 500,000 homes to B2 by 2030, as laid out in the Programme for Government and the National Climate Action Plan 2021.
This position will play a key role in supporting the customer journey, process management and development, stakeholder engagement and ongoing scheme development.
What youll be doing: The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following: Support the delivery of national energy policy actions including the Climate Action Plan, a key objective of the National Retrofit Directorate.
This will typically involve supporting service delivery and grant management, client and supplier engagement, and ongoing programme enhancement Support programme efficiency and effectiveness through contributing to the development and continual improvement of new and existing processes, as well as ensuring transparency and simplicity for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Create, design, maintain programme KPI reports relating to programme objectives and outcomes, performance, and trend analysis.
Input into analysis and feedback processes to ensure programme objectives are being met, are customer focused, and involve identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
Initiate, develop and maintain strong business relationships and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders including service providers.
Provide input to and action outputs from the Voice of Customer (VOC) mechanisms to improve overall programme and customer experience Supporting IT development for the programme and Change Management, liaising with IT colleagues as required.
Develop, review and maintain scheme standard documents and communications.
ensuring compliance to corporate governance processes.
Conduct ongoing organisational tasks including website updates, handling programme inquiries and general programme administration.
To undertake any other duties/projects as may be assigned from time to time.
Contribute to and participate in various events on behalf of SEAI.
The functions and responsibilities assigned to this role are based on the current requirements stated above and may be changed from time to time.
The candidate appointed to this role requires flexibility to fulfil other responsibilities across the Delivery Department.
To ensure that activity peaks within the Delivery Department (e.g.
end of year spend, site liaison and home retrofit close-outs) are addressed in a proactive manner, it is expected that the candidate appointed to this role will need to be flexible in terms of working hours during these periods.
About you: Key Knowledge and Skills are as follows: A capacity to foster a positive working relationship with colleagues and external stakeholders; to work in multi-disciplinary teams and to network effectively.
Strong analytical skills Excellent communication (written and oral) and people skills.
Well-developed IT skills (Microsoft Office and PowerBI, experience with Microsoft CRM an advantage).
Strong proactive approach to achieving results, including managing scope, time, and quality.
Strong organisation skills and knowledge of business process management including change management.
Flexible creative approach to problem solving and decision making to ensure the best solution is achieved focusing on the need for greater efficiency and effective delivery Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality .
Ability to use sound judgement on complex issues (problem solver).
Experience in working in building energy retrofit activities would be an advantage Experience and Personal Qualities Required The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate; A third level qualification and/or a minimum five years experience of working in an energy-related policy environment or in a similar role Demonstrated experience in process design and mapping development Strong Experience in training development, delivery and evaluation Commitment to quality and continual improvement Analysis and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail, quality and ability to think strategically and use sound judgement on complex issues Strong focus on Voice of the Customer (VOC) and customer experience There may be a requirement for the successful candidate to further develop specialist knowledge and expertise relevant to the role.
Training will be encouraged (formal and informal) and supported where required.
