The Role:The Project Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the initial scoping and execution of technology and process optimization programs aligned to achieving Avolon's corporate objectives. This role will be broad and cross-functional, with interaction across the business and project life cycle.
Role Responsibilities:Assist with evaluating business processes to scope requirements and design fit-for-purpose processes and technology solutions;Maintain project timeframes, objectives, and communications;Collect the necessary information required to start projects;Verify data and information and analyze it to suit the direction of a project or requirement;Track, forecast, and report on project progress including metrics and challenges;Assist with the implementation of technology solutions using agile development methodologies;Help manage UAT and end-user experience testing of the ongoing development;Liaise with external technology providers to test ongoing development of technology solutions, extending to UAT and end-user experience testing;Mitigate program risks and issues and manage change requests;Any other tasks as may be assigned by the SVP Project Management & Technology and Program Managers.The Person:The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail. They will have the foresight to anticipate future challenges and addresses potential risks and issues. This person will be self-motivated, holding themselves accountable, with an ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They will have the ability to learn and keep up to date with role-related technical developments, mastering any new technologies and processes. The person will be flexible and adaptable, with an ability to engage multiple stakeholders. They will have outstanding communications skills, with an ability to work with a variety of stakeholders (both internal and external).
Knowledge and Experience:Relevant third-level qualification with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role;Solid understanding of project/program management techniques and methodologies;Ability to document and troubleshoot issues;Experience in project management and technology implementation;Proven experience working in an Agile environment;Demonstrable experience and knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM is an advantage;Working knowledge of the aircraft leasing industry is considered an advantage;Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail;Foresight to anticipate and address potential risks and issues;Robust project management and coordination skills;Self-motivated with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;Ability to learn and master new technologies and processes;Flexible and adaptable, with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders.Avolon is an equal opportunities employer, which cultivates opinion, listens to all views with respect, recognizes people based on their merits without bias, and embraces diversity.
