Role Profile This is an exciting opportunity in the National Retrofit & Community Department working with the National Retrofit team.
This department help the homeowners & communities to reduce energy consumption by decarbonising homes & communities, mainly through supporting home energy upgrades & providing grant & education supports to communities across Ireland.
The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic & innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of the National Retrofit Plan.
As Programme Executive you will provide support to the Programme Manager in the in the technical & operational development of the National Retrofit Plan with a key focus on heat pump technologies.
Ad-hoc nationwide travel will be required for this role so a driving licence would be welcomed.
Essential Requirements You will have: A Minimum of Level 7 Qualification (NFQ) in a relevant technical or operational field i.e., Engineering or Science based.
Minimum 3 years' experience of working in this or a related sector or similar.
Expertise/knowledge in the following: energy efficiency retrofit measures, their installation & commissioning, building energy rating methodology, building physics, fabric upgrades & renewable technologies such as heat pumps.
Strong project management & organisation skills & knowledge of business process development experience.
Strong written & verbal communication skills, including report writing, presenting, public speaking.
Ideally you will also have: Understanding of project management methodologies.
Industry experience including knowledge of the retrofit sector.
Experience in carrying out Building Energy Ratings.
Experience of design, installation & or maintenance of energy efficiency technologies.
A full Driving Licence.
Benefits: This role is for 18 months with hybrid working, a 35 hour week and 29 days holidays plus Bank Holidays.
