The Opportunity A vacancy has arisen for a Project Coordinator at Glanbia Business Services. This is a 12 months fixed term contract opportunity and will report to the Programme Manager.
Key deliverables of the role The Project Coordinator is a role in the GBS PMO team which organises and facilitates the work on projects. Working under the direction of a Project Manager, this individual coordinates the efforts of project team members in producing project deliverables including:
Compilation of Scope and Blueprint documentsAssisting with Data Migration plans and activities including helping to ensure data migration deliverables are aligned to process designAssisting with Testing plans and activities including helping to ensure test scenarios, scripts, environments and testers are appropriate to verify the end-to-end solution is fit for purposeAssisting with stakeholder analysis, communications and training plan coordinationAssisting with preparation of cutover plansThis individual also supports the project manager by:
Assessing progress against planManaging the project repository on SharePointManaging the project action, issue & risk registerIdentifying the need to engage the Project Manager in resolving problemsQualifications Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Business or Engineering)Skills & Experience 3 plus years' experience gained in a similar role ideally within in a Global organisationTakes a structured and effective approach to own work and demonstrates leadership potentialAble to analyse, diagnose, design, plan, execute and evaluate work to time, cost and quality targetsFamiliarity with available methods & tools for project management within Glanbia Business Services, and makes correct choices from alternativesClearly recognises those situations where reference needs to be made to the supervising Project Manager before taking actionCommunicates effectively, orally and in writingIf you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please apply!
