Overview & Responsibilities This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to work in our fast-paced dairy manufacturing site (the largest integrated milk processing plant in Europe), where you'll utilize problem solving and communication skills every day. You'll get exposure to large scale Engineering projects, which vary in scope in a market leading organisation. The ideal candidate will have an Engineering background and experience in a similar manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Senior Projects Engineer, the role's primary responsibilities are as follows:

Management of process & utility projects, working closely with a cross functional team of Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Quality departments to implement the required changes to enhance, stabilise and improve processes. Projects are both executed in-house and by external contractors. Develop scope and system performance targets for tendering to external contractors. Review tender submissions and design proposals from external contractors. Monitor project expenses in line with the approved project budget. Design small scale process changes and implement same. Provide expert technical support to the site production, maintenance and utility teams. Ensure smooth transfer of project knowledge from engineering to production, including ramp up plans for new process, transfers or product introductions. Assist the process automation team in developing FDS user requirements. Ensure all activities, equipment and facilities comply with GMP, Health, Safety and environmental policies. Requirements 3rd level qualification in Chemical, Mechanical, Process or Sustainability Engineering. 3+ years' experience in project management within a large scale manufacturing environment, preferably in the Dairy, Food, Beverage or Healthcare industries. Successful track record of project delivery. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Assertive and enjoys collaborating with others.
