Project Engineering – Project Engineer - Infrastructure and Systems Focus - 1197 Waterford - Pay rate €50-55 p/h
The experienced Project Lead will have an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary engineering team to plan and deliver a multi-million Euro project on site, achieving significant energy and carbon reduction targets.
We are looking for an experienced individual to hit the ground running who has delivered on significant projects within a highly regulated environment. Ideally, the candidate will also have education/work experience and aspirations to develop clear skills and competencies around dealing with a live pharmaceutical production environment. The capital projects team is best in class in the execution of projects safely.
Key Responsibilities Deliver on a portfolio of infrastructure and utility upgrades.Perform procurement, acceptance of equipment & associated infrastructure, and report regularly on project status throughout the project lifecycle to the project manager.Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety codes, practices, approved project KPIs, performance standards, and specifications are maintained.Liaise with external and internal customers, suppliers, and vendors to define and deliver right first-time project deployment.Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey project goals, progress, and issues to stakeholders.Support other project participants to overcome obstacles when they present themselves.Deliver performance metrics for budget, schedule, scope, and quality adherence.Essential Skill Set Planning and Scheduling: Ability to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.Resource Management: Efficiently allocating resources including manpower, materials, and finances.Budget Management: Controlling costs and ensuring the project stays within budget.Time Management: Ensuring the project is completed on time.Technology Savvy: Familiarity with the latest technology and tools used in project management and pharmaceutical manufacturing.Leadership and Team Management Team Leadership: Be part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver on key aspects of infrastructure as part of a project portfolio.Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey project goals, progress, and issues to stakeholders.Problem-Solving Skills Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.Decision Making: Thoughtful Risk Taking (TRT) making informed and timely decisions to keep the project on track.Stakeholder Management Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with all project stakeholders.Negotiation Skills: Negotiating with contractors, suppliers, and other third parties to ensure project needs are met.Quality Assurance Quality Control: Implementing and overseeing quality control measures.Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes.Essential Requirements Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or equivalent Engineering discipline.Minimum 5+ years' experience in a project management role.Detailed knowledge of cGMP pharmaceutical environment.Exemplary communication, dedication, and keen focus on delivering key success factors within the role.Master's degree is an advantage.For more information and a confidential chat, feel free to reach out to me at ****** or call me at 01-482 5494.
