This is how you can make a difference at Abbott: In this role you will drive program delivery in line with the organization's project management methodology. You will be responsible for leading key elements of the Lib3rty program and acting as the program voice for your given workstream You will also take ownership of the successful implementation of a set of projects that collectively can comprise a program and manage the work of project managers.
It will be a very big plus if you can bring experience in developing projects or sites from square one.
You will be responsible for
Leading the project management activities for a given workstream/manufacturing lineDriving task & deliverable adherence to established schedule through the daily & weekly Tier meetingsDeveloping & challenging existing program schedules, where you'll bring experience with MS Project to optimize the schedule layout & flowBuild an in depth understanding of your given workstream to drive valuable input to team discussionLead problem solving workshops to identify program gapsEngage with key suppliers & vendors to assess project management capabilities versus industry standardIdentify and resolve operational problems to mitigate schedule impactEvaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project.Select and manage ongoing relationships with external contractors so that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.For this position you will need to bring:
