Automation Project Lead - Medical Device Industry Our client, a leading multinational medical device company based in Ireland, is actively seeking a highly skilled Automation Project Lead to join their dynamic team.
This is an exciting 12-month hourly rate contract opportunity for an experienced automation engineer with a strong background in project leadership and a proven track record of delivering successful, compliant projects within the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and Develop Automation Systems: Oversee the creation and implementation of automation solutions to enhance manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with medical device industry standards.
Project Management: Lead and manage multiple automation projects from conception to completion, utilising best-in-class project management methodologies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all automation systems and processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA, ISO, and other industry-specific standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications, validation protocols, and compliance reports.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to manufacturing personnel on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.
People Management: Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Qualifications & Skills: Relevant Degree/Diploma Qualification: Bachelor's degree or diploma in automation engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience in automation within a regulated environment, such as the medical device industry.
Project and People Management: Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects and teams from start to finish, ensuring they meet regulatory compliance and are delivered on time and within budget.
We offer competitive hourly rates based on your level of expertise for this 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
