One of our large Financial clients is looking for a Project Manager/BA to join their team.
Investment banking, understanding trade, trade processes, reconciliations, and breaks would be an advantage.
This particular role sits within the GMO (Global Markets Operations) group and will focus on delivering change for our Global Markets and Global Market Operations stakeholders.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support projects within the Transformation & Op Ex team.
Responsibilities: Change lead to coordinate activities across Front Office, Operations, Technology, and other support partners.Work with end users to define functional requirements and prepare User Acceptance Testing.Manage User Acceptance Testing execution and Production parallel activities.Track and communicate delivery status.Identify and manage project risks and issues.Central point of contact/co-ordinator for a single or multiple Line of Business program of work, accountable for adherence to Enterprise Change Standards for every Use Case under your remit.Chair a weekly or Bi-Weekly Line of Business progress update call.Update program leads on the current status of your Use Cases.Provide input into larger Program routines.Requirements: Track record of delivering complex projects to plan.Knowledge of structured project management methods covering planning, status tracking, risk & issue management, and status reporting.Ability to manage and communicate with support partners & stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.Experience of partnering with SMEs for requirements gathering, test preparation, and test execution.Knowledge of Operational processing within Global Markets.Additional Desired Qualities: Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions.Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward.Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs – is a continuous learner.Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change.Participate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client base.Believes in the value of diversity so we can reflect, connect, and meet the diverse needs of our clients and employees around the world.Presentable, confident, and stakeholder-focused, with the ability to conduct discussions with stakeholders in a confident manner.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds.Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised, managing own time and knowing when to escalate.The Client is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
