The role in the team is as a project manager whose main purpose is to take responsibility for delivering a range of projects to approved schedule, budget, and quality requirements. The role will involve a combination of office based working and site visits to both existing and new substations and transmission circuit sites.
You'll be responsible for: Demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative work environment.
Demonstrating enthusiasm to drive delivery of large infrastructure projects.
Identifying and managing Stakeholders and ensuring regular and timely communications at all levels.
Working collaboratively with customers and stakeholders.
Ensuring that appropriate project controls are in place within the team having regard to budgets, schedule, scope, quality risk and other performance indicators.
Preparing and updating formal project progress reports such as monthly reports including financial, budget and project schedule reporting.
Analysing issues, exercising judgement to make decisions and escalate as appropriate.
Supporting the improvement of processes, procedures, and systems.
Arranging regular project progress meetings with key stakeholders such as ESBN.
Developing governance papers and reports to support the approval process.
Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including risk register, issue register, daily log, etc.
Managing change control procedures and programme governance.
Following policies, guidelines, and standards in relation to project management.
Performing any other duties delegated by the senior project manager or client's programme management team.
You'll need to have: An engineering degree/technically biased degree, typically with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Power system industry expertise, and utilities/construction experience along with the ability to adapt, innovate and meet changing demands.
You will work from the Dublin office up to 3 days per week.
Digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
