Job Opportunity: Project Manager – Fire Sprinkler Installations Reporting to: General Manager, Sprinkler Division An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager – Fire Sprinkler Installations to join a growing team within the fire protection industry.
This role offers the chance to lead projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering exceptional results.
The Role As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing fire sprinkler installation projects, managing technical, financial, and safety requirements while ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities Contract Review : Analyse contract documents, drawings, and specifications for compliance with design standards.
Standards Implementation : Apply international fire protection standards such as NFPA, BSEN 12845, FM Global, and LPC.
Client Interaction : Attend client meetings, prepare technical submittals, and develop project schedules.
Quality Management : Ensure projects align with ISO 9001 standards.
Cost Control : Estimate and monitor project costs using an ERP system and provide regular financial updates.
Drawing Management : Coordinate with the design team to ensure accurate and up-to-date project drawings are in circulation.
Compliance : Work with QEHS management to meet quality, environmental, and health & safety requirements.
Additional Work : Identify and oversee any additional project scopes as necessary.
Team Support : Assign tasks and provide coaching and support to team members.
Key Qualifications and Skills A degree in engineering is desirable but not essential.
A minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally within the fire protection or construction industry.
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
High level of computer literacy.
A full, clean driving license is required.
