Job DescriptionOur client, a Leading International Multi-Disciplinary Air Climate & Fire Safety Company has an urgent requirement for an experienced Project Manager to manage recently secured Data Centre projects in the Nordics and Southern Europe with different key customers.Our client is looking for looking for a dedicated Project Manager to assist the Project Management team with thescheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure projectaccuracy and quality.
The Project Manager is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines ofongoing projects and has the ability to ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.Determine and define project scope and objectivesPredict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient mannerPrepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirementsTrack project costs in order to meet budgetDevelop and manage a detailed project schedule and work planProvide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progressManage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverablesUtilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project executionMonitor progress and make adjustments as neededMeasure project performance to identify areas for improvementInteracting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements.Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance andreporting on the project's status.Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performancestandards, and specifications.Preparing technical submittals and following detailed project approval processes.
EG: Pharmaceutical.HVAC design work including drawing updates and modifications.Ordering of parts and equipment.Completing health and safety documentation as required.Assisting on site works such as snagging, pre commissioning and commissioning and ensuring all the associated paperwork is completed to the highest standard.RequirementsThird Level Engineering Qualification.
Preferably electrical engineering/ building services.5-8 years of project management and related experienceProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredProven ability to solve problems creativelyStrong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practicesExperience seeing projects through the full life cycleExcellent analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills and extremely resourcefulProven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timelinePackageBasic Salary: €70,000 gross per annum.
Car Allowance of €9,600 per year, €800 per month.
Gross and subject to BIK.
Fuel Card: Worth circa €3000 per year.Bonus of 20% based on agreed KPI's: €14,000OTE: circa €96k per year.Pension 5% employer contribution after 12 months (Minimum 5% employee contribution also required) VHICareer progression pathways within Ireland and worldwide through multi-disciplinary business teams including manufacturing, product development and specialist installations.
