Project Manager - Cork – Consultancy AA Euro Group are on the lookout for a Project Manager in the Cork Area to join our clients growing team.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of educational projects from inception to completion.
You will oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The role involves close collaboration with clients, design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals while maintaining a focus on excellence in education-specific design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities: * Lead the management of multiple educational projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
* Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary design and construction teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and contractors, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
* Monitor and report on project progress, addressing challenges proactively and implementing solutions.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as educational standards and guidelines.
* Conduct project reviews and evaluations, capturing lessons learned to inform future projects.
Skills and Qualifications: * Proven experience in project management, preferably in the educational sector.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
* Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and teams.
* Familiarity with educational building standards and regulations in Ireland is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
* A relevant degree or professional qualification in project management, construction, or engineering is advantageous
