Our Cork based client has a portfolio of renewable projects nationwide and is seeking our help in the Project management and delivery of these projects, the particular role we are looking to fill is in their Solar delivery team. You will deliver and manage project plans from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of senior project managers and other leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.
Manage the construction of our clients solar projects to include organising, leading and ensuring effective management and administration of the Project.
Coordination of project team including external consultants, contractors and service providers.
Ensure continuous planning and follow up of cost, time and quality & reporting on projects status to senior management.
Establish and fulfill the requirements of the project charter.
The implementation of the health, safety and environmental requirements and ensure HSE compliance including project health & safety monitoring, reporting & development; including managing planning & environmental permit conditions for the project.
Ensure internal communication, co-operation and co-ordination between the different staff members of the project and with other parties with interface to the project (region, country and corporate).
Ensure efficient and regular project meetings and recording of minutes and agreed actions. This includes (but is not limited to) general internal project reporting, tracking of project spend & progress, tracking of project payments & variations and various project management documentation compilation and maintenance.
Manage the tendering processes for small works packages.
Manage the inputs from technical design team to finalize the design of the projects.
General contribution to the competence of the construction team for wind, solar, battery, storage & other renewable energy projects with the client.

You will actively network and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace group, the centres of Excellence, Mace way control centre and knowledge hub.
You'll need to have: Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the renewables/energy sector.
Experience of working on projects within large, diverse teams.
Experience of developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects.
You'll also have: Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
Infrastructure project management expertise.
Commercial and financial acumen.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
