Location: Dublin, Ireland (with own office space)
About Us: Our client is a leading subcontractor specialising in the construction and optimization of data centres, committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients. With a focus on excellence and innovation, we strive to exceed industry standards in every project we undertake.
Position Overview: As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing all aspects of data centre construction projects. You will be based in Dublin, managing project issues both remotely and on-site, with a rotational presence at project sites, initially in Sweden and then returning toward the end of the project.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all phases of data centre construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.Coordinate issues on-site, working closely with subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives to resolve any challenges that arise.Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address concerns, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company objectives.Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management and clients as needed.Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.At least 2 years of experience specifically in data centre construction or related industries.Background in trades or a relevant degree/qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage project teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Willingness to travel and spend extended periods on-site, with a rotational presence in Sweden for 3-week intervals during the initial and final phases of projects.
