Purpose of the Role: Help identify opportunities for Infosys, focus on client challenges, develop new client relationships, prepare business plans, manage multiple and complex engagements from launch to closure, assist in program planning, proactively look for existing client issues, practice leadership to develop new ideas with clients, participate in and contribute to different client and Infosys initiatives with the objective of ensuring smooth IT delivery in the telecom domain within the guidelines, policies, and norms of Infosys.
Roles and Responsibilities: Build and maintain professional relationships with senior-level client executives, expand professional network in the client organization. Understand and work with the client's complex organizational realities to accomplish goals and help the team open new opportunities. Adopt a visionary outlook to identify possible business ideas, analyze feasibility for development of IP, and prepare business cases. Proactively look for existing client issues and work with practice leadership to develop new ideas to address these issues. Demonstrate mastery of key analytic techniques and deliver timely, accurate, and professional work/deliverables. Manage individual goals/priorities with little guidance; prepare status reports and presentations. Meet clients well-prepared; address and resolve customer relations issues. Review project scope documents for all medium/large-sized projects to ensure proper scoping and risk reduction. Prepare resource plans for the portfolio including people, infrastructure, and liaisons. Identify quality goals and processes, comply with internal quality mandates, and prepare comprehensive quality plans. Conduct regular risk assessments of projects and provide governance of complex engagements. Review and track SLAs and provide delivery governance to execute projects successfully. Monitor and control all project phases, taking corrective measures as necessary. Allocate individuals to projects/initiatives and participate in recruitment activities. Participate in account-level change initiatives to improve operations and help in account growth.
